THE END OF 2012

Well as far as the weather in this country is concerned I am glad to see the back of it, not that I can see much improvement in the coming months, however, on a more positive note I have just completed my 3 years of Kate Cranes Art Calendar Challenge. I don't often look back at what I have done but my 2 Grand-daughters love reading the calendar. December is up to date and January is ready to go. For 2013 I have made my own calendar journal under the watchful eye of the lovely Christine whose idea it was. January's background was done using my Gelli Plate with Golden Acrylic paints. My journal squares are cut from Basic Gray paper and the images are Stampotique.

    Both very pretty calendars. Congrats on 3 years! I just completed 2, and it feels like an accomplishment. :) Your January is so pretty. I love the layout on December.

    I almost didn't join this year, either, mainly because I was out of room in the book I had been working in for two years. At the last minute, I gave in and will be joining you again this year. What fun you gals must have had creating those fabulous handmade journals. It sounds like fun, too, especially since I can only dream about owning a Gelli plate.
