Here is September's page for the Art Calendar hosted by the lovely and talented
Kate Crane. This page turned out completely different to what I had planned. I began by spraying my pages with
Dylusions inks turquoise and lime and then using the herringbone stencil sprayed black through it, didn't like it at all so I covered it with 2 coats of Gesso et voila I love the effect it has given, so muted. The journal pieces are tickets cut from Tim's die on my Vagabond. I stamped the September directly on to the page using Archival black. Next week I am going to New York for 8 days so my embellishments at the bottom are NYC themed, the apple stamp I bought at the Ink Pad the last time I was in NYC, the New York sky line I cut from a Making Memories Die, the flag and big apple words are from a magazine. Hope you like it
