Happy New Year to you all, I hope 2012 brings lots of good health and happiness for everyone.
This is my 3rd year taking part in Kate's 365 Art Calendar challenge. This year I have had to get a new book as my last one was full, only a few pages left after using it for 2 years. I thought I was going to really like this book as it is a 12"x12" but when I started putting the page together I realised there's not much space to add images etc so for future months I might use 2 pages and then end up with too much space LOL. I really enjoyed making the background using Dylusion Paints and sprays together with Crafters Workshop stencils, I liked the finish result so much that I didn't want to cover it with journal squares etc but of course I had to or start again, no time! Any way here it is I hope you like it I'm not too happy with it but I never am.
Happy New Year Pat xxx

ReplyDeleteI think your pages look great, the colours are really deep and gorgeus!I find after working so hard on a background I don't want to cover it either so I have made a square template and I draw my squares on, that way you can still see the page and it saves time not having to glue all the squares down!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the banner! Fun colours! /Pia

ReplyDeleteI love how you have kept this up for 3 years! I am good at starting things .... but have difficulty in sticking with it. I've only recently found out about Kate's Calendar Challenge, so am going to give it a try, starting in February, when I get home! The more I read your blog, the more I see she have in common!
