WOYWW 49

I have been missing from WOYWW for the past 3 weeks for various reasons and nearly missed it again today but here you are, all those peeps who like to have a look. I have been out since 7.30am today, had another lovely day at AFTH doodling. I didn't get home until going on for 5pm, took the dogs out, cooked dinner, ate it, stacked dish washer and here I am with everything just dumped on my desk. There are things I bought at AFTH, they are chipboard shapes which I will use in my art journals. They are from an Australian company called Buzz and Bloom, they are waiting for the price tags removing before DH sees how much I spend. I do this every time I buy some stash does anyone else do this? There is a green card I am making for a friends birthday, she is a keen gardener so that's why it is green. You can see my doodling pieces done today and the black album is another Art Journal which I am using for Zentangles, it has black pages and I am using a white pen for the patterns.

  1. Lovely tidy desk. I know lots of friends who remove the price labels before they get home so that dear husband does not know how much they spend LOL. Love your tags on the post below too, they are fab. Tracy Evans x x

Yes, teddy is usually on on shelf behind me and misses out on the pictures. I think he must have fallen off on purpose, just to get in the picture!

  6. I don't remove prices - he's lost interest and the will to live about my stash by now! But I do know gals who leave stuff in their car until he goes out! Lovely to have a chance to be at AFTH for the day; love the pages you've done, and the card background. All in all, I'd say a great day and a fab WOYWW!

  7. Keep the husbands in the dark when it comes to how much we spend, that's what I say. I'm sure they know though. That's why I never have one of Lynne's bright orange bags, how can we sneek that in the house. Your desk is way too tidy, loving the striped background for your friends card, and the way you have distressed the edges. Love Sandra x

  8. What a wonderful stash of goodies! I don't really buy much as I prefer to make my own paper, etc. And my husband never interferes! Bless him! Patsy from

  9. Hehehe I'm chuckling at a lot of the comments about telling hubbies the cost of things....I just say "they didn't cost as much as your football season ticket" :-)

  14. I can't believe you remove the price tags - just tell him at least its not shoes or handbags or your not out at bingo... If my OH sees anything, I tell him i've had it ages... then he checks the bank statement ... then I calculate all the money i've saved since I haven't been driving while poorly etc etc...

Anyways - what does AFTH stand for? (i'm dead nosey)...

I don't think it looks like you've dumped stuff - well your dumping stuff is neater than my dumping stuff - big time.
