Another mop up page that I decided to use to celebrate the recent "Blue Moon". The moon I cut from a Gel Plate background then gave it a coating of Tim's Glossy Accents I drew round the edge with one of Tim's Distress Crayons. The buildings stamp is one of New York which I actually bought from the Ink Pad in New York. It does look a bit dark and blotchy but I thought it gave the impression of night.

I love this stamp of Frida Kahlo. This was a mop up page in my large Dylusions journal, I just added some stencilling using my Dylusions inks and stencils plus some stamping with a Kate Crane stamp for Stampotique. I also used some of my Washi tape. Hope you like it.

Here's November Art Calendar. The background is a mop up page with added stamping, the calendar squares are from Artist papers free in the Somerset Studio magazines. I quite enjoyed doing this page especially after I made a mess of Octobers page I got all the days and dates wrong so didn't post.

SEPTEMBER CALENDAR

This was ready for the first of September but I just forgot to post it on my blog. Little Monster is an Elena Zinski stamp, I just love them, the circles, trees and hedgehogs are all from a Kim Dellow set for Paper Artsy. I have so many stamps I think I need to stop buying them lol!

INFUSIONS AND MONSTERS

I recently attended an Infusions by Paper Artsy, workshop at Art From The Heart Harrogate, Sandra Botham was the teacher and it was a really enjoyable day, these pages in my mini journal are the result. If I'm honest I am not sure about the infusions but love Elena Zinski stamps they are all so cute.

WASHI TAPE JOURNAL PAGE

This idea came from Marjie Riordan Kemper I saw it on her blog how to use up the many rolls of washi tape that we all have in our stash. I painted a double page spread using Dina Wakley heavy body acrylic paint Turquoise then placed rows of black and white washi tape. Using Ranger blending tool and foam I blended Archival ink Venetian Orange and Deep Purple through a couple of Crafters Workshop stencils and then stamped using Dina's stamps and black Archival ink.

AUGUST 2017 ART CALENDAR CHALLENGE

My August page finished and ready to go. The beach huts and little boats are Stamps by Kate Crane for Stampotique and the little Balloon Boy is a stamp by Magda Polakow. I think I may have difficulty finding a pen to show my writing on these dark squares probably a white Uni-ball Signo pen will be best.
